For that reason I have decided to offer my help to anyone who is interested in finding out who their ancestors are, the places they lived in or, even try and make contact with their living relatives in Slovakia.

                I am doing genealogical research in area of east Slovakia and Rusyn area. The charge for my services is adequately low and therefore it is well applied especially to those who have limited financial sources for such research.

Archive Research (the parish records, census records...).
The aim of the basic genealogical research is to search for the basic information about persons, places and dates requested by the clients. A major part of the research will be most likely performed at the State Archives in registers of births, marriages and deaths and in Census data, the most detailed is the 1869 census. Excerpts from them are the main output of my work. It is possible to apply for birth, marriage and death certificates. I DO NOT CHARGE FOR THE TIME SPEND ON TRAVELING TO THE ARCHIVES. The result of my research you get in the form of running account + a chart in the form of family tree summing up all the discovered names, dates and places of the client's ancestors and their relations. I will deliver its research findings in electronic format using the Internet and e-mail.
Results of the search are sent in Microsoft WORD or EXCEL or also in a standart genealogical file GEODCOM.  We also take a digital photograph of each record from the ancestry record for you to check. It is free of charge and it is sent by email.  The investigation takes usually up to 3 weeks. Payment can be effected through our US Bank

Find and contact living relatives
I need to know where your ancestors came from. Thanks to archive research I can obtain more details to locate your relatives. But a visit to the place is usually the most efficient way to locate possible relatives of yours living there.

Digital pictures
I can try to look up the ancestral homes, cemeteries, memorials, churches. These places will by documented by digital photographs.

Grave Tendering

We also offer a grave tendering service. We can provide flowers, cut the grass or make any changes according to your wishes for your ancestor’s grave.

No archive fees, no journey money, no table money or administrative fees, you pay only for the time spent in the archives. We do not charge for the digital photos. The data will be sent in GED file which can be used in most genealogical programmes.
